Individual Membership
Membership in the association is available to all women in Sri Lankan descent residing in Canada, without regard to their ethnicity, religion or caste, as log as they are willing to uphold the constitution of the association. To be eligible for membership, individuals must be at least 21 years of age. The Board of Directors will carefully review all membership applications, and the decisions will be communicated to applicants. The associate maintains a maximum limit of 125 members for its membership.

Honorary Membership
Honorary members are expected to actively support CSLWA in realizing its goals. While they enjoy all the privileges granted to individual member, it's important to note that honorary members do not have voting rights on matters submitted for decision, including the election of the Board of Directors.

Membership Fees and Dues
Currently, the annual membership fee stands at $20. Upon payment, individuals will maintain their status as members in good standing until the subsequent Annual General Meeting. Any adjustments to the membership fees will be decided by the Board of Directors through a voting process, with a minimum requirement of at least 2/3 of committee members present to validate the decision.
